Quality/Inspection Procedure

The strict quality inspection process is a core part of Huntchip International quality control system. We have advanced inspection process, professional testing equipment, with experienced IQC engineers and their professional / responsible work attitude to ensure our customers receive quality products.

Step 1 Visual Inspection

All incoming parts, we will perform advanced visual inspection and detailed inspection report to be filed.
  • Manufacturers, Manufacturer Part Number, Date code, Quantity, RoHS
  • Packaging inspection, packaging is intact/ complete, packaging meet appropriate MSL standards
  • Silk screen (Marking) inspection, consistency inspection,original specifications and documentation check
  • Visual inspection to determine parts condition, pin deformation,signs of oxidation

Step 2 Engineer Re-inspection

We will conduct a comprehensive re-inspection to the parts supplied by "non Tier 1 suppliers"
  • Product visual re-inspection
  • Check the Manufacturer label and coding mark with reference to the quality control database
  • Bar code scanning inspection
  • MFR lot number, batch number, date code and related wafer/packaging verification
  • Simple electrical performance testing

Step 3 Quality Test

All items that are not identified during the re-inspection process will enter the quality testing process. Products are tested by third-party laboratories (e.g. White Horse, CECC Labs)
  • Soderability Test
  • D-cap test
  • X-RAY consistency test
  • XRF/EDX/ test
  • Functional testing

Quality Control Training System

  • All employees are required to attend training courses, besides quality management team members.
  • Huntchip's training program gives us an insight into the latest manufacturing trends, industry best practices and new counterfeiting techniques
  • Huntchip's quality engineers have an average of 8 years of experience in their field
  • Huntchip regularly invites testing experts from the Manufacturer/ Franchised distributor /third-party laboratory to train the staff
